Video on Parental Involvement

January 20, 2012

In searching for videos to share with the staff for professional development, I found this video by Ben Grey (@bengrey).  Students were interviewed on how they wanted their parents involved in their learning.  It’s wonderful to hear how the students want to work with their parents; the fact that it’s mostly homework-related could be the basis of an interesting and thought-provoking discussion on what roles are there for parents to help not only their children, but perhaps others as well.  Please read the blog post that went with this video here.
